Close Requests

Close Requests in short, doesnt let the ticket handler close the ticket without confirmation.

Turning Close Requests on

The close request setting resides on the panel level. To turn this setting on, edit or create a panel and select the checkbox under "Close Requests". Now any new tickets will need close confirmation to be closed and claiming is required before being able to close a ticket.

Request Close

With the feature on, when a new ticket is created only one button will show up: "Claim". After someone from the mod team claimed the ticket a new button will show up "Request Close". Either party can click this button to request the ticket to be closed. After one clicks the button a modal will show asking for a reason to be filled in. After confirming the modal with a reason filled in the bot will send a message within the ticket channel with the reason of the close request and a button to confirm the closure. If the other party now clicks this button the ticket will close as normal.

Claiming

Do the claiming settings still impact the ticket?

Yes these settings still function the same as descibed in the claiming section.
